How does Lip Enhancement work?
Lip fillers are hyaluronic acid based soft tissue fillers injections, which are used to add volume/restore volume/add definition/balance to the lips. The effect is immediate and many people enjoy the amazing results without the need for surgery. We use Teosyal® and Belotero® dermal fillers. These are both premium fillers that integrate beautifully in the lip tissues, producing natural results.

Your Lip Enhancement Bedford consultation will be with a nurse, who will assess your needs, suitability and determine the most appropriate form of treatment. During your consultation she will be able to answer any questions you may have about your concerns and give you personalised advice. If the decision is taken to proceed with dermal filler treatment, we will be able to carry out the treatment in-clinic. The clinic is ‘Save-Face®’ registered for your safety and peace of mind. Anaesthetic cream is applied to the lips to aid comfort during the procedure. The filler also contains local anaesthetic. Using a needle or a cannula, small quantities of the filler are injected into the dermal layer of the lip. The procedure will only take a few minutes.

THE RESULTS
After some initial swelling, the full result will be 2 weeks after treatment. We will arrange a follow up appointment for 2-3 weeks if you would like your treatment reviewed. Please follow the aftercare advice for the best recovery and results. Lip fillers are temporary and last approximately 6 months but this varies from person to person.
