What is radiofrequency microneedling?
With the Focus Dual device, super fine ‘micro’ needles are used for safe, precise, and more comfortable treatments. Radiofrequency microneedling helps to improve the overall appearance and rejuvenation of skin through the delivery of heat to the deeper layers of skin, causing the collagen structures within these layers to tighten. The radiofrequency energy directs heat to the more superficial dermis and epidermis, simulating the production of collagen and elastin. The heat zones created help with collagen induction, which begins to remodel and strengthen collagen cells to tighten the skin. Inducing thermal trauma to stimulate neocollagenesis (collagen production) in deep layers of the skin, creates stronger, firmer, and more lifted skin to help with concerns such as wrinkles and laxity.

At Nuvo Aesthetics, we would usually recommend a course of between 2 and 6 sessions with maintenance treatments recommended yearly.
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after a course of 2 - 6 sessions. Your skin will continue to improve up to 12 weeks after the last treatment.
Downtime is minimal for this treatment. You may experience some swelling and redness immediately after treatment, however this should subside fairly quickly.
