Milia appear as a small light coloured, hard spot on the face, they are often mistaken as white heads. In fact they are not spots, they are build up of keratin which has formed in the top layers of the epidermis (top layer of skin). They often appear on areas of the face that are typically dehydrated.
Read MoreThey are not something that can normally be removed at home and would need to be extracted by a professional. Most people like to get them removed for more cosmetic reasons, as they are not dangerous. At Nuvo Aesthetics, our experienced skin therapist uses a sterile needle to create a tiny incision and the contents of the milia are carefully extracted. This is performed as an additional service during a medical grade facial.

1 session of Milia Removal is required to remove the existing Milia. Depending on how many Milia there are on the area, will depend on how long the session is.
Anyone with confirmed Milia. We cannot treat anyone with Milia on the eyes or inside the orbital ring (eye socket area).
One session is enough to remove Milia, however the length of the session will vary depending on how many there are to remove.
